It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas!

Great Season!

Christmas is by far one of my favorite seasons! I love the reason for the season, the music, the lights, the decoration, everything about is just great! These next couple weeks will go by fast and we are looking forward to them!
Here are some highlights from last week; we hope that you enjoy the pictures!

On Wednesday afternoon it rained really hard. Our room and some parts of the school flooded.

The students did a great job helping to roll up the carpets, and move things around to dry places so we would not have anything damaged. They remained calmed and even had a little fun in the rain!
We had pink day on Thursday. The girls looked beautiful and the boys did a great job bringing in their toys!
On Friday, we put out our Christmas tree and everyone helped decorate it. It was great to see the student’s excitement and teamwork in decorating the class.

Have a wonderful week, thank you for your prayers and support!

Many Things to be Thankful for...

We really have endless reasons to be thankful for! We thank God for the wonderful year that he has give us so far in pre-kinder. The students are growing and learning a lot! We have been able to experience God’s love and faithfulness in many ways.
We are thankful for each one of the students that God has brought to our classroom, for every family and for the healthy relationships that have been established. We also thank God because our class is growing every day to be a community and safe place where we all enjoy spending time together, learning and growing in every area of our lives!
Here are some pictures with some of the highlights of the past couple weeks! Enjoy!
On Thursday November 15th we had Orange Day!

On Friday November 16th, we had a great time on our first swimming lessons!

Special Day!

Christian Character Day and Fall Festival

We had a great time last Friday celebrating Christian Character day in the morning and Fall Festival in the afternoon! We all got to dress up as a Christian Character. The people who where in the classroom got to guess who we were after we gave them some clues. We were able to share why we chose our character. After the time in the classroom, Pre-Kinder Kids got to lead the parade. We got to see all of our friends from other grades dressed up as we walked through the classrooms in the new building. We ended our wonderful morning with a great chapel and with Mrs. Uribe as our speaker.

After our exiting morning we had lunch outside with all of the ECA community and had beautiful sun shine for a little while. It did rain pretty hard afterwards but we were very thankful for the sun we got! There were many different kinds of foods and fun games. The Anentos were all working very hard selling delicious pastries from their bakery and want to donate half of the money they earned to Pre-Kinder and the other half to First grade. Thank you for coming and sharing this great day with us!

Bears, Blueberry Muffins and Black

Bear Day
We had a great day on Wednesday with all the bears that the students brought to school. They each had a turn to share about their bear in front of the class. We also had a HUGE friendly bear come and visit us.

The students were excited to see the big bear and even though she was so friendly they were a little bit scared:)!

Cooking Class

Samara's mom, Mrs. Munoz, is a chef and she decided to come and visit our class one afternoon last week. She taught us how to make Blueberry Muffins and how to decorate them nicely! The students loved cooking, decorating and eating them for sure:)! They were tasty. We had a great time and we were thankful that Mrs. Munoz was able to come and share this time with us.

Decorating the muffins with Mrs. Munoz and Mrs. Castellanos

Black Day

Our color days continue to be great. Not only do we learn a song about how to spell the color but also Snoopy comes to visit our class. We share with Snoopy and the rest of the class every thing that we are wearing with the color of the day. Pre-Kinder is just a great place to be!

These were some of the highlights of our week! We hope that you enjoy the week off and we will see you soon!
