Letter Sounds

A A A... Acrobats
Learning the alphabet sounds is going well! The students did great last week. Since "A" was our first sounds, we practiced being Acrobats!

Chapel
Last week we had a very special chapel. We had chapel with the whole Elementary. Mrs.Moyer led it with her class' help. She also chose one student from each grade to help with her illustration.

Brown Day
"There is a color we all know, can you guess what it is? B-R-O-W-N, B-R-O-W-N, B-R-O-W-N, that's how we spell brown." This is our brown song, the students have done an excellent job learning how to spell the different colors.

Thank You for Coming!

Open House

Thank you so much for coming to our open house. We truly enjoyed sharing this time with you. We had been looking forward to it because we wanted you to see our classroom, sing with us some of the songs that we have learned and show you some of the work we have done. It was a very special day:)!

Green Day

We continue to enjoy our "color" day. The students have done a great job learning the songs and wearing as many clothes as they have with the color of the week! Keep up the great work:)!

On the day that we all wear the same color, we get to share with our friend Snoopy and the rest of the class what we are wearing. It is a great way to practice our speaking skills!

This Upcoming Week...

This week we will be starting many new things. We start leaning the sounds of each letter of the alphabet. We will do one letter per week. We will also start to learn a Bible verse with each letter. Thank you for your prayers and incredible support at home! Have a wonderful week!

Another Special Week

Blue Day

" B-L-U-E spells blue, B-L-U-E spells blue. Hi, ho, how did you know B-L-U-E, spells blue." This is our blue song and we sang it as many times as we could last week. I wouldn't be surprised if you heard it at home:)!

Special Class

Our school nurse and our school counselor visited our classroom last week. They shared with us some special guidelines and advice. They encouraged us to take good care of our bodies and to respect others.

Birthdays

In September, we celebrated five special birthdays. We celebrated Samuel Alvira's, Sofia's, Isabela , Gabriela and Samuel Segura's. Last week the Segura's came on Wednesday and we had a great celebration with delicious cake and great singing!

Chapel

Chapel is always one of the highlights of our week! We enjoy getting to see all of our friends from the other grades and love singing the song that Mrs. Moyer leads:)! We are truly blessed by this time of Christian fellowship. Last week all the teacher aides introduced themselves during this time. We also reviewed our school rules with some important people who love us and take excellent care of us while we are here at school.

Have a wonderful week and we will see you on Thursday at our open house. We are looking forward to it!

Miss Olivera's "Friends"

We have new friends in our classroom! These friends help us learn songs and definitely make our time together more enjoyable than it already is!
